First of many...

Exactly one week after we brought Carter home from the hospital, Cade fell and cut his eyelid. It was pretty traumatic (at least for this post partum mama) and we couldn't really tell how deep the cut was. So to avoid horrendous scarring, infection and for my peace of mind Matt and Cade headed up to Cook's urgent care. I'm not sure who was crying more when they left me or Cade! It broke my heart that I couldn't be there with him! Luckily the cut wasn't as bad as it looked and Cadeo walked away with a few steri strips as his battle wound. He was quite proud of his 'boo boo' for the next couple of days:)

I'm sure with 2 boys in our house we will be making plenty more trips to urgent care/ER in the coming years. Thankful our first one was not that bad.
