32 Weeks

I can't believe that in 8 weeks I will have another little boy in my house! This pregnancy has seriously flown by! I keep waiting for the time to start to drag, but it just hasn't happened yet. We can't wait for his arrival though! It's really starting to become more real to me as the days draw closer and I drag out the baby things and sweet baby boy clothes. It's crazy how tiny they are!! Oh how I'm a sucker for all things baby. It seems like just yesterday I was doing all this for Cade-o.

This pregnancy has been great so far. No serious complaints! However, I did have a moment on Saturday where I just felt D.O.N.E. being pregnant. Now, don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed this pregnancy and I love the feeling of a little person inside of me, but I'm ready to not feel like I'm lugging a basketball under my shirt wherever I go! I have started going to the chiropractor for my back pain and to help get Carter in good position for delivery and that has helped immensely! I would highly recommend it to any pregnant woman :)

We've started work on Carter's room. It's so funny how with the first child you can't wait to get the nursery all set up and you have a plan for either gender before you even find out the sex. (I know we had Cade's room finished by the time I was 32 weeks.) Then comes baby #2 and things are just crazier! Luckily we have so much cute boy decor from Cade that we're just going with the same theme/different look. It's just funny how it's not such a huge deal this time around. Let's be honest, all the kid needs is some diapers, sleepers and a crib :) Anyway, after much putting off (mainly b/c of all the junk piled in the room) work has begun and I'm really excited to see the finished product!
