1. The weather!! It has been absolutely beautiful the past week or so. We've definitely been enjoying some outside time. This is one of my favorite times of the year! Bring on the picnics at the park.
2. Slowing down and enjoying more time at home with my little man. After the crazy week of snow I realized that I need to be more intentional in making time to stay at home and just be with Cade instead of running in 14 different directions. It has been so good! I'm trying to make sure we have 2 mornings at home together every week. I want to enjoy/cherish this time with him.
3. No more diapers! (at least for the next 8 weeks, anyway) More to come on this later...
4. Last but not least, here are some of my favorite Cade sayings from the past couple weeks....
- He can now say his last name and it's the cutest thing ever! He has a little knock knock 'joke' routine he does. C- "Knock, Knock" M- "Who's there?" C- "Cade Mosir!" Priceless!
- When he cannot get my attention with just "Mommy!" He has started yelling "Cade's Mommy!"
- When using the restroom he yells across the house "Daddy(Pico), here it?!!" Oh life with boys.
- When he sees something cool, "Mommy, check it out!"
- He's been really great at helping me do simple tasks around the house lately and I always encourage him by telling him he's such a good helper. He apparently takes great pride in this because he will randomly come up to me and say "Cade good helper" Yes, yes you are buddy, but let's not be boastful :)
- He always wants to wear his little backpack wherever he goes. So cute. He is also very interested in the school bus since his Uncle Seth rides one to his basketball games. I'm quite certain Cade thinks that going to school means riding a bus and playing basketball all day.
