Happy Birthday America

July 4th is one of my favorite holidays!  I think its because it tends to be a bit more relaxed and involves all things summer!  We had a great time celebrating with friends this year.  Second year to celebrate in Norman and I'm loving the little traditions we have started with friends.

We started off the morning with a good old fashioned neighborhood parade in a friends neighborhood.  Cade was excited about this all week!  He woke up ready and focused for the parade.  He didnt' even finish his celebratory sprinkle donut!  On the way home, "Mom, I really enjoyed that parade."
The littlest ones waiting for older siblings.  Cambrie Mae was clearly ready for a nap
Here they come!

Love Cade waving in this pic

After the parade there were popsicles at the park!
Our fun little group
Little Sister finally got her nap

After heading home for lunch and naps we then went out to the country for some cookout and firework action.  Such a fun full day!  So thankful for these sweet little faces and great friends to celebrate with.  God bless America!
