Mosier Road Trip 2013

Earlier this month we decided to take a little road trip down to Texas and see everyone we knew who lived there.  Ok, so maybe not EVERYONE but we did make quite a few stops and probably pushed our children to their limit but all in all we had a great time!
We got off to a rough start with Matt and I being sick, but my mom came to the rescue and drove the kids and I on down to Waco a couple days early so I could rest and recover.  Then it was off to the Houston area.  Obviously we made a stop in College Station both ways.

It was so good to see old friends and family we hadn't seen in a while.  I love the feeling of picking up right where you left off with someone you haven't seen in forever, I love the comfort, and the feelings of refreshment after being with them.

On the way back to Waco we made a stop on campus.  It was our first time to be back in a long while and we loved showing the boys around.  The new MSC was amazing.  I will say that it felt a bit weird to walk around campus wearing my baby.  Never would've pictured myself doing that when I graduated 6 years ago.  The best part of our campus trip was getting to go ON Kyle Field!  Cade loved it!  Carter wasn't quite as impressed but still enjoyed himself.

Then we took a few days to stay in Waco and relax before heading back home.  We enjoyed some swimming and early birthday celebration for Matt.

Finally, we made one last quick stop in Fort Worth to see some more sweet friends.  This may be one of my favorite pictures from the trip.  Boys are so different from girls. Ha!
Mosier Road Trip 2013 was a success!  I loved seeing the friends we were able to see but was sad to miss others as well.  Maybe next time...

What a fun little road trip! Can you believe that I haven't been back to College Station since the day I graduated. Crazy huh?
