Cambrie Mae: 4 Months

Our baby girl is 4 months old. How can this be true?!  She is pure joy these days and is always up for a good time.  Thankfully she is turning into a much more laid back baby which is good because being number 3 doesn't leave much room for a strict routine.  Girl just has to roll with it when it comes to napping around here. 

Here's a little bit about Cambrie Mae at 4 months....

She is still so smiley and chatty.  I love it!!  Cambrie Mae enjoys being outside (as long as its not super windy), laying on the floor and kicking her legs.  She is getting much better at tummy time and can hold her head all the way up and can sit supported in the Bumbo. 

Sleep is going well.  She had a bit of a lapse the last few weeks but that's normal for this age.  I think we're starting to hit a stride again of more sleep.  She eats every 3 hours during the day then is up for about an hour and a half before going to sleep. This normally breaks down to about 3ish naps a day depending on our schedule.  She's pretty consistent with taking a good long nap in the afternoon while the other naps tend to be shorter and less consistent. She goes down between 7-8pm and wakes up for the day between 7-8am waking around 4am to eat. This month she brought back the bad habit of waking around midnight but we are working on some sleep training so hopefully that will be gone soon. Cambrie Mae still loves the swaddle even though most nights she gets one or both arms out so she can suck on her fingers. 

Cambrie Mae is weighing in at 12lbs 5 oz and is 24 inches long. She is in size 1 diapers and wearing mainly 3 months now with some of her 0-3 month things still fitting snugly. 

Some of Cambrie Mae's favorite things right now are being held, having someone talk to her, watching her brothers, Mommy, diaper/clothes changes, her little pink giraffe lovey, sucking her fingers and the bouncy seat.


Month 4 was a busy month full of a trip to Waco, her first Easter and her first little cold virus.  I can't wait to see all the newness and fun month five will bring.  We love you sweet girl!!
