The Best of 2012

2012 was a year full of some major changes for our family.  When I first started thinking about a reflection post my mind immediately went to all the hard things from the past year.  Yes, this year was hard and full of lots of newness, change and uncertainty but it was also full of God's faithfulness, love and fun!  After reading this post by Ann Voskamp I was encouraged to focus on the best things from this year, the things I want to remember when I look back on such a full year in our life.  So here is a list of some of my favorite moments of 2012...

This guy turned THREE!  He also said goodbye to his beloved paci all on his own.

 

 I was able to have some of my favorite people all together for a time of fun and prayer before we moved

 We sold our first home and were able to buy a new house

 Lots of family time with these guys

 Celebrated this little guy's FIRST birthday

Found out we were having Baby #3!!

Enjoyed tons of backyard time in the Spring and Fall.  This place does have some beautiful Fall and Spring weather!

 

Best vacation with some of the best friends ever.  Seriously though, Cade STILL asks me if we can go back to Great Wolf almost weekly.

2012 brought with it much change for our family and it definitely had its hard days and weeks but as I look back it was also full of fun, laughter and excitement!  God provided such an amazing church and community for us here, another one of my favorite things about 2012.  Seriously, our friends here are awesome!  They have loved us so well this year and have blessed us so much in the past 2 weeks with food, visits and ice cream.  We are so thankful for our Providence Road family and are excited to see how it grows in 2013. 

So farewell to 2012 and hello to 2013!  The year of survival with 3 small children.  BRING IT ON!
