Merry Christmas!

Christmas is looking very different for us this year. In some ways a good different and in other ways a hard different.  We got a very special early Christmas gift in the form of our sweet baby girl.  Therefore traveling 4.5 hours was a bit out of the question this year. This has been hard for me since for 27 years I've been at my Granny's on Christmas Eve with the rest of my extended family.  After an especially rough few months for the family, its so hard for me not to be there but at the same time we had to do what was best for our little ones.

So for the first time we are staying home and enjoying Christmas as a family of 5 with our families coming later in the day....or so we thought.

Now there's a huge snowstorm expected to come through early tomorrow morning.  Super exciting for our 3 year old who thinks it has to snow for it to be Christmas (too many Christmas movies...) but not so exciting for travelers.  So after a crazy amount of changing plans and reading up on forecasts (Matt) both fams are coming up tonight!  We are excited for them all to be here!  Can't wait for the fun memories of the crazy Christmas of 2012 with a 9 day old baby, snow storm and 8 visitors!

Merry Christmas from all FIVE of us!!!!
