Our Unwelcome Visitor

Things are moving at a crazy fast pace around here!  I can't believe Thanksgiving is this week and a month from tomorrow we will be meeting our sweet girl!  We have been busy little bees this month making progress towards the nursery, pre baby prep and Christmas preparations.  However, it all came to a halting stop when we had an unwelcome visitor plant itself in our home for 4 days...

It all started after lunch Monday on the way home from the mall when Carter got sick in the car not once but twice.  Awesome.  Thankfully both of our moms were here for my baby shower that night so they were a huge help that afternoon as Carter proceeded to vomit the rest of the afternoon.  I learned a few things that afternoon....1) I don't do vomit well, but if it's my baby I can at least lovingly point his head in another direction while I comfort him.  2) A 3 year old should never be left unattended with all attention on little brother and 3) Never been so thankful for our own mothers and hot water in the washing machine.

What happens when 3 year olds are left unattended with markers and sharpies...they draw cat faces.
Lots of extra TV time while Mommy & Daddy recover
Now this was a persistent little bug and the first one to every really wipe out the Mosiers.  I think it's safe to say now that we stand 48 hours post last victim and the house has been hosed down in bleach and lysol,  the score stands Nasty virus -3 Mosiers-1.  My sweet Cade stood strong and fought off that nasty little thing like a champ.  I've always loved that kid:)  However, my poor mom ended up getting sick once she got back to Waco on Wednesday.  That's true Nonnie love right there my friends.

So this weekend we are hitting the ground running and are furiously trying to finish Cambrie Mae's room so we can spend these last few weeks soaking up our family of 4 and begin the celebration of the birth of our Savior!!
