June Getaway #3

At the end of June Matt and I celebrated 5 fun filled years of marriage!  We decided that was cause for a bit of celebration and took a little trip down to the Texas Hill Country ALONE!  It was the first time we had gone anywhere without the boys since right before Cade's 2nd birthday.  Needless to say, it was a much needed, very refreshing trip.  Plus the boys had a great time with our parents in Waco!  It was a win all around.

When we first started talking about taking a little trip all we could think about doing was NOTHING!  Literally, all I wanted to do was go somewhere with Matt,  have uninterrupted conversation, relax and catch up on some long lost sleep. So that's exactly what we did!  We rented a little house on the Blanco River in Wimberly, TX and did absolutely nothing but eat, sleep, sit in the river and explore the little town of Wimberly.  The highlight of the trip was definitely the outdoor movie theater we randomly came across the first night we were there.  We stopped and saw Brave outside with a bunch of cute little families.  It was so fun but made us miss our little guys.  This trip was absolutely perfect for us in this season and even though we missed our boys like CRAZY, it was so good to get away and spend time alone with our best friend.
