Then Matt headed off to work and our day quickly turned to this....
I had two pretty feisty and whiny little boys for the day. We tried to make the best of it with a fun craft that included paint and LONG naps. Needless to say I was very excited when Matt called and said he was coming home early so we could all go out to our church party together!
Once Matt got home we headed out to our friends house in the country and had a great time swimming, eating, hanging out with friends and popping fireworks. The boys had a blast and were worn out by the time the night was over! Poor Carter crashed on a twin bed at 9 because his crazy parents were keeping him out so late. We love our Providence Road family and enjoyed spending the holiday with them!!

Carter had his fair share of food that evening. I'm positive he ate more than Cade and maybe even more than my pregnant self.
Cade was always a safe distance away from the fire
Little boys ready to set off some fireworks.
Carter's love, Nicole
Cade leading us all in a little song
Helping Mr. Blake light a firecracker. I've never seen Cade run so fast after he lit this.
Always time for a little digging
Once the daddies started lighting the big fireworks Cade and Noah found a safe haven in the garage.
