Here's what Carter has been up to this month...
Playing...Carter loves all toys, he's not particular about any certain ones EXCEPT his stuffed zebra. He loves his zebra. It's as big as he is, but he doesn't care. It's a must have for car rides, naps and night time. Other than that he's happy to play with cars, blocks, balls or anything else that's laying around. He has started making little motor noises for cars. It's so cute! I love how little boys just know what to do with cars. Carter also has quite the arm on him and can toss a little ball pretty far.
Saying...A few little words are starting to come out and Carter knows what he wants even if you aren't sure. Words he is trying to say are ball, bath, bye-bye, da-da, co(Pico), and ZeZe for his zebra. He is also good at pointing at what he wants.
Eating...everything in sight!! His appetite has seriously picked up this month. This kid will eat anything! He has 3 meals a day with us and 2 snacks along with still nursing 3 times a day. Needless to say, he has definitely chunked up a bit this month. His favorite foods are cheerios, bananas, graham crackers, cheese, yogurt, pasta and chick fil a nuggets.
Sleeping...He is finally sleeping 12 hours at night!! So thankful! As far as naps go, his morning nap is hit or miss but he's usually down for a good 2 hours at least each afternoon.
Weighing...I'm thinking he's weighing in the 19-20lb range, wearing 9-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers. We moved him out of the infant carseat this month and into a bigger convertible seat. He loves it!
Loving/Hating...Carter loves being outside, tackling his brother, his zebra, and eating. He all of the sudden up and decided he hates baths. Crazy. He also dislikes going down for naps and long car rides.
Carter still has only 4 teeth and shows no signs of wanting or caring to walk. I'm fine with this because I know that as soon as he takes off he will never stop!
We love you sweet boy and can't believe we will be celebrating your FIRST birthday in just 4 short weeks.

He is growing so fast. Not a baby anymore. He is so precious and just so happy. Love his wrinkled up nose when he laughs. MiMi and PawPaw love this boy.
I LOVE his little scrunchy face. Pearson really started playing with cars this month too. It is funny that they know exactly how to roll them around. I can't wait until P makes a little motor sound. I bet that is so cute!!
Sorry, I always have a questions for you.....Carter is just a few steps ahead of P so I always think of something to ask you when I read his posts.....
When did you drop the 4th feeding? And which one did you drop? I'm nursing P at 7,11,4,7ish and I feel like he's trying to drop one of the daytime ones. Just curious.
