Norman

Well, after a long day of goodbyes and travel yesterday we finally arrived in Norman.  We are semi settled in our temporary apartment.  It's quite nice and fully furnished!

Our hearts are full of excitement, fear and sadness.  We are excited to start a new chapter here in Norman and see what all God has in store for us hear.  However, starting over comes with a bit of fear of the future and sadness to leave the community and friends we had in Fort Worth.  We have been truly blessed with an amazing group of people to do life with there and bummed to leave it all behind.  Look out Norman, you've got a lot to live up too:)

Here are a few verses that have been getting me through the past few weeks of craziness and uncertainty...

Isaiah 41:10
" fear not, for I am with you;
   be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
   I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Proverbs 3:5
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
   and do not lean on your own understanding."

Isaiah 52:12
" For you shall not go out in haste,
   and you shall not go in flight,
for the LORD will go before you,
   and the God of Israel will be your rear guard."

Thankful we are not walking this road alone and He ALWAYS goes before us and will uphold us during this time of change.

Some of our best friends, the Locketts, live in Norman. They love their church- North Haven Church. When we visited them- we fell in love with the city. Pray ya'll settle in well.
