Sequoia Express

Thanks to my friend Cassie and Pinterest we had a fun 'Polar Express' night.  We started off with some yummy reindeer pancakes.

Then we put the boys in their pajamas and did our nightly Advent candle lighting and reading of a part of the Christmas story.  After that we told Cade we had a special surprise and to go look under his pillow.  He was so into this!  He ran to his room to find a ticket to the 'Sequoia Express', he then checked Carter's bed for his ticket. 

Then we heard the 'train' pulling into the garage!  It was time to load up and go look at Christmas lights!  Of course no Sequoia Express trip is complete without some popcorn and chocolate milk. 

We had such a fun night and Cade really enjoyed it!  He was so enthralled with all the lights even if it was just a few on the bushes. This is one of my favorite little family traditions.
