We had a nice little Thanksgiving this year. Matt had to work so instead of traveling to Waco we hosted our first Thanksgiving. My family and mom's parents all came up for the day. It was perfect. I even made my first turkey! It was so nice to not have to travel with the little guys and just enjoy time with family. Plus, we will be getting our fair share of traveling in come Christmas:)

| So we're not necessarily the most photogenic group of people, but I love this bunch! |

Another thing I love about this time of the year is the friends that come through town to visit family! Our great friends the
Birkenfelds
came through on their way to Canyon a couple of days before
Thanksgiving. We had a great time staying up too late chatting and
having them stay with us. They have 2 kiddos right around the same age
as our boys. It's so fun walking through the same stages of life with
them. We miss them terribly!

| I'm pretty sure the babies are scared for their lives right about now. |

Then on Sunday we got to see the
Pattersons! Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of their visit. Cade was so excited for Gavin to be in his class at church on Sunday.
I'm so thankful for the time I was able to spend with these people. Hoping to see them all again in just a few weeks!
