Carter-5 Months

Well another month as come and gone and now I have myself a little 5 month old.  Crazy.  This month has flown by and I can't believe it's almost October!

Here's what Little C has been up too this month...

Playing...He is loving the exersaucer.  We tried it out for the first time a couple of weeks ago and he LOVES it.  Carter has also mastered the art of rolling this month.  He is a rolling machine!!  As soon as I lay him down he's already trying to roll away.  I'm not sure I'm quite ready for him to be mobile yet! He also still enjoys the Bumbo and to look at his books.  He's trying to grab everything in reach, especially Mommy's hair.

Hey Mom, what's under here?

Growing...No well check this month, but we went a few weeks ago for a sick visit (he had a cold/eye infection) and he weighed about 15lbs.  So I'm guessing he probably weighs about 15.5-16lbs.  His little thighs are really starting to chunk up.  I just love it!!

Wearing...Size 3 diapers(finishing up our last box of 2s this week) and 3-6 month clothes.

Eating...He still nurses every 3 hours during the day and once in the early morning hours (5ish).  We tried rice cereal this week, he wasn't the biggest fan.  I may just skip over the rice cereal and move on to veggies and fruit later this month.  So crazy that it's already time to be thinking about baby food!

What is this Mom?

Sleeping...Carter is still not the best of nappers.  He takes about 3 naps a day, but I never know how long they will last.  Right now he naps around 9:30am, 1:00pm and 5:00pm.  He sleeps from about 8-8 at night waking around 5ish to eat.  This week he has finally stopped hard core fighting going to sleep.  Let's hope that lasts:)
So thankful for this sweet boy.  We love you Carter!
