Carter- 2 months

Look who's 2 months old today! Wow, crazy that my little buddy is already 2 months old. The days are sometimes long, but the weeks fly by!

Here's what Little C is up to these days....

He's weighing in at 11lbs 9oz and 23.5 inches long. That's over 2lbs more than last month and an inch and a half longer!! Someone did some major growing this month:)

His schedule is becoming more and more consistent. He eats about every 3-3.5 hours during the day and just started doing 6-7 hour stretches at night! He's even done an 8 hour stretch once or twice! However, he is definitely my early riser. I can normally count on him to be all smiles around 6:30. It's a good thing he's cute:)


This child is one happy, content baby! When he's awake he loves to lay on the floor while Cade is playing, sit in his bouncy seat or just be talked too. He is enamored by his older brother and will sit and watch him forever!

Carter started smiling this month and has even started cooing in the past week or so. That smile melts my heart every time.


He sleeps in his crib the majority of the time now with the exception of maybe 1-2 naps in the swing during the day. We moved him from our room earlier this month. The kid was an extremely loud sleeper! We're all sleeping much better in our own rooms:)

He met his BFF Nash this month too. Oh the trouble these 2 will come up with when they get older:)
