I sing the old hymn "Holy, Holy, Holy" over Cade every night before he goes to bed. It's my hymn for him. We want each of our kids to have their special hymn that we sing/pray over each of them.
The past few weeks Cade has started to sing with us. It is the cutest thing ever!! I've been trying to capture it on video, but he gets too camera shy. A few days ago I caught him singing to himself "Ho-we, Ho-we, Ho-we" while playing with his trucks. I love it! He knows it's his song and asks to sing it constantly now.
Matt has shown him music videos on YouTube since Cade LOVES any kind of music or instruments. Normally they watch a band performance of some kind like Matchbox 20 or Dave Barnes. Cade asks to watch "Song" on the computer often. Yesterday he came to me and asked "Ho-we Song?" so I typed it in to YouTube and found this beautiful Hillsong version put to pictures of creation. Cade loved it! It was so neat to sit there with him and listen to those powerful words and see pictures of God's magnificent creation. We talked about all the things we saw and how God made all of them. I've been working on the verse Genesis 1:1 with Cade over the past month or so and we've been talking about how God made all things. I love watching him grasp these concepts on his level and such a young age.
Today he asked to watch "Ho-we Song" about 500 times, but how could I resist? He is so enthralled with the pictures of creation and even sings along.

I hope to hear my Grandson say this soon. Or even sing it that would be better. Love that little guy.
