Cade 19-20 Month Update

Since I completely missed 19 months and he is now 20 months I decided to just combine them. I know you're just here for the photos anyway :)

I LOVE the stage Cade is at right now. It is so fun!! So many things are new and exciting to him and it's so fun to watch him experience them. He is such a little sponge right now and soaks in everything he sees and hears. Nothing gets past this little guy.

One of his favorite things right now is 'Mow'. Our neighbor has a yard business and aside from Matt I'm pretty sure this guy is Cade's hero. Cade pretty much stalks him anytime he is outside working on the yards on our street. It's hilarious! Cade can hear is truck pulling in every afternoon no matter where he is in the house and immediately runs to the window yelling 'Mow'! However possibly my favorite thing he says is "Bye, Bye Mow!" everytime we leave the house. I am pretty sure Cade is going to be a mower for Halloween this year :)

I have started doing an activity time with Cade a few times a week. This is just a time where we sit and do some sort of specific activity/craft. We don't do anything major and it's more for me to make sure I'm spending directed instruction time with him. Cade's favorites so far have been finger painting and dry pasta play.
Cade still loves playing with his cars. That's really ALL he plays with. Our front windowsill has become a race track and he will stand there all day playing and watching the cars drive down the street. I'm thankful for that front window!!

Other fun Cade facts from the past month.....

• He often calls Matt 'Matt' when Matt doesn't answer to 'Dada'
  
• He loves to pull random clothing items from my closet and wear them...i.e sports bra, and scarf
  
  
  
  • Enjoys listening to my ipod...thinks he's super cool.
  
• Talks constantly! His favorite phrase is "Where'dgo?"
  
• Obsessed with trash trucks
  

We love you sweet boy and enjoy watching you grow and discover new things. I can't believe in 4 short months you will be 2!!
