10 Months!

Last week my baby turned 10 months! Can you believe it?! I sure can't......

Cade is still a busy little bee around our apartment. He can get pretty much anywhere he wants in no time! This month he has really become quite the explorer and I have a hard time keeping track of him at all times. It only takes me turning my back for a second and he's gone exploring somewhere else. Thankfully our apartment isn't that big so he can't get too far unattended.


Cade is still an excellent sleeper! Praise the Lord! We had a couple of weeks where he wasn't feeling great and getting up before 6:30 every morning, but thankfully he's back into his old routine of waiting til 7:30-8 to rise. Mommy is thanking God for that one! I need my coffee/Jesus time in the morning(preferably while little boys are still sleeping) otherwise I have a hard time getting through the day! I'm also thankful for morning naps and enjoying those days while I can. I have a feeling they will be gone all too soon.


This past month we had some crazy firsts happen with Cade. He was sick for the first time with what started out as a simple cold, but then turned into a sinus type infection. We gave him antibiotics for the first time, which of course he loved. Crazy kid. Then we had our first bout with fire ants at the park. Luckily he was in his footy pajamas (don't judge, I thought we would just walk and not actually play) and only had bites on his hands. Still so sad, but thankful it wasn't worse! Lastly, we discovered that he has some sort of skin reaction to milk products. After trying cheese and yogurt and then him breaking out in a hive-type rash we decided to hold off on any dairy products for a long while.

Things Cade enjoys these days....

• Mealtime.....Seriously this kid would eat all day if let him.
• Taking things out of cabinets, drawers, baskets, etc. Then after emptying all the contents moving on to another cabinet, drawer, or basket to empty. Next month: Teach Cade how to put things IN to cabinets, drawers, or baskets.....
• Elmo's World! We don't let Cade watch much TV at all, but we do record the Elmo's world portion of Sesame street for him. He loves it! It's the only thing on the TV that he will legitimately sit and watch.
• Still loves that Monkey lovie blanket.....He slept with it damp during his nap yesterday morning because he couldn't go to sleep without it and it was in the wash.
• Playtime with Daddy. Cade loves crawling around and chasing his daddy. They are so cute together!

We love you sweet boy and can't believe how fast you're growing!!!
