To began our Christmas festivities we had our annual Christmas cookie baking/movie extravaganza. We baked and decorated cute little cookies to give to our neighbors while watching the classic Home Alone. It was a great time! We have definitely improved our cookie decorating skills from last year.
The night before we set out for Waco we had our own little Mosier family Christmas. We went on a date to La Bodega (yummy!) and exchanged our little stocking stuffer gifts we made/bought for one another. It was such a sweet time to celebrate with just our little family. We look forward to our little Mosier family Christmas with Cade next year!!
Next we set off for Waco to have Christmas with Matt's family. We opened gifts and had yummy Christmas Eve lunch with them.
Then it was off to the Rogers for dinner and the candlelight service at my parents church. After church we came back to the house and opened Christmas p.j.s and played Apples to Apples.
Christmas Day was spent at my Granny's house with my mom's side of the family. It was a sweet time of fellowship with family we don't see very often. The day after Christmas we went to Houston to celebrate with my dad's side of the family.
Needless to say we had a great time, but were exhausted by the time we came home Christmas night. I'm so glad we spent the entire month meditating/anticipating on the birth of Christ. It was constantly in the forefront of my mind as we celebrated with family, unlike in years past when Christmas Eve comes up and that's the first time I've stopped long enough to remember the real reason I'm celebrating.
We are excited for all the things to come in 2009! Especially a certain little boy who should be making his entrance in less than 30 days! We are busy getting our home ready for Cade. I can't decide who's "nesting" more me or Matt.

Happy New Years! Erin you are the CUTEST little pregnant woman!!!
Where'd you get that darling dress? I hadn't seen it before.
Okay, Day 1 without Erin. Everyone is freaking out. The kids miss y'all already. I told Justus last night he was going to be learning about plants, and he said "When Erin comes over, her will teach me about plants Mom." I had to break the news. Sad day. We love you! See you soon!
