July has been a crazy month for us. We went on our honeymoon, moved into our cute little apartment, went to Padre, and I (Erin) started working. It has been so great to have this relaxing time, but we’re ready to get settled and stay in the same place for a while.
Over the past few months we have been praying that I would get a job after the wedding. We had just assumed that it would be a teaching job. Well God had other plans and has blessed me with an amazing job with a great family. I will be working for the Bacak family. In the mornings I will be at their house helping Jenn with whatever she needs me to do, helping her with school ideas, teaching her kids piano lessons and whatever else she needs. In the afternoons I will be working at Rusty’s doctor office. I’m so excited!! God has provided in an amazing way for us. It is so cool to see how His plans are not our plans and how His timing is so much better than our timing.
Also, I will be teaching piano lessons on the side. This is something I’ve done in the past and am so excited to do again. So if you know of anyone who would be interested let me know!
In other news, Matt and I are currently obsessed with the newest Harry Potter book. I have always a bee closet Harry Potter nerd, but have just recently infected Matt. We love reading the book together and can’t wait to find out the fate of Harry and his friends.
One last bit of info, our wedding pictures are up!!! We had such an amazing photographer, Lynsey Kramer! She is so great!!! You can see our pictures here. We hope you enjoy them!!

You play piano!?! I had no idea!! Too bad I'm not in College Station anymore - you could totally teach me!
We want you to give Anson piano lessons. I've been meaning to tell you that...so now I am. Schedule us in! So excited!

That's cool that you guys read together. I heard of someone else doing that with their wife recently, and thought that was kinda cool.
Good luck with the piano lessons. I'm glad someone has the patience and know-how. I'm gonna start refering people to you... seriously!
I know this week has already been a blast for you being that it is your first week! So fun.
I can't wait to hear about the piano lesson adventures.

We are so blessed to have you in our lives everyday! I love you tons!!!

Hi - I don't have your email so I'd thought I's send this to you on your blog.
Ladies and Gents,
I know it's late but I have a prayer request that needs some immediate attention. One of our VERY close family friend's children had a brain aneurysm this afternoon while playing in the yard outside at his house. He was taken by helicopter to TX Children's hospital in Dallas, TX but he is currently on life support. Surgeons should be operating on him any minute now - they have already drilled a hole in his skull to relieve the pressure. The child's name is Spencer Squire and he is 7 years old and he and his family need all the love and support we can offer them right now. Please send this to everyone you know and lift this little boy and his family up in your prayers.
Thank you and God Bless,
Daniel & Sarah Shalley
Talk to you soon. THANK you for your assistance in prayer.
