Exciting Times!!

So...the month of July has been the best month of our lives so far and its only getting better.

Last Monday, our amazing friends, the Bacaks, asked us to be Godparents for Treston. This is Treston:

He is amazing. The Bacaks are going through the adoption process and hope to have an adoption party soon. We are extremely excited and honored to be asked, with our great friends the Vann's, to be his Godparents. Our role, as far as we know, will be to pray for him. We will pray for his adoption, salvation, sanctification, his football skillz (Matt thinks he will be a great offensive lineman), and for all of the trials and struggles that come from living in a broken world. We will always be there for you big man!! You will always have a special place in our hearts and prayers.

Also this month is the much anticipated trip to South Padre with the Vanns and Bacaks. We are leaving tomorrow (Sunday) and could not be more excited. We aren't excited about the car ride (well Matt is, but no one else is), but we are really excited to get to spend some more vacation time with some great friends. We will try and update some pictures while we are at the beach. If not, we will after we get back. We also have some video that Matt will post soon.
