We were both pretty excited to find a baby turtle! Cade was very concerned that he needed to find his mommy. After investigating him for quite sometime and talking about how he needed his mommy, we set him off back in the direction of the pond and headed to the swings. On our way back to the car we had to make sure the little turtle was gone and back with his mommy :) I sure hope he found her!
I'm sure this is only the beginning of critters we will find at the park:) I love being a mommy to little boys!

That is a very tiny turtle. Glad Cade got to see it. I can see alot more critters in your future.

You should have seen some of the things your dad and his brothers brought home. That turtle is one cute little turtle, and I hope he found his mommy too. Get ready for everything from bugs to crawfish to baby sharks. It's fun, exasperating, but I loved it all.
Can't wait to meet Carter soon.
