37 Weeks 3 days

I can't believe we will be parents of 2 in under 3 weeks!! Crazy how fast this pregnancy has flown by. I feel like with Cade the last 6 weeks dragged on, but not this time. I'm so excited to cuddle this sweet boy! Cade is pretty excited too, he tells me almost everyday "Carter coming soon."

We are busy getting everything ready for little Carter. It's so weird how suddenly I feel the need to take EVERYTHING out of my closet and reorganize it. Yet simple daily tasks such as vacuuming/mopping just don't seem to be as pressing. However I can say that his room is finished and it turned out quite nice. We're using the same theme/bedding we did for Cade, but I wanted it to be a little different. How easy/different just a simple change of paint color can make a room look drastically different.

I'm still feeling pretty good. However in the evenings, once we put Cade to bed I'm pretty much worthless. That's probably when I feel the most miserable. Other than that I really can't complain. I'm thankful for how smoothly this pregnancy has gone.

As we gear up for the big day, Matt and I are both having to fight off fear and anxiety. We continually have to cover these fears with TRUTH! We trust that the Lord has ordained Carter's birth day and his birth story and it is His PERFECT plan. The details are up to Him, not us. We (I) have to continually place my wants and desires for this birth in God's hands, knowing that He knows what's best for me and my baby.

We can't wait to meet you sweet Carter Bailey!!
