This past weekend we headed out to Grapevine for a last fun family of 3 outing. They were having a special event "Day Out with Thomas" and it was right up Cade's alley! He had seen a commercial on PBS a few weeks earlier and has been asking to ride Thomas ever since. After seeing the commercial again last week he told me to get tickets :) Oh the effects of advertising on children..
We had a blast! I was really impressed with how neat this event really was. There was a REAL train with a Thomas engine hooked up to it. I was even intrigued. It's such an awesome thing to watch your child be mesmerized by something you know they love. I'm so thankful we were able to experience this with him. If you know Cade then you know he's not one to get overly excited about things. As you can tell from the pictures he had his "Cade face" on and was totally zoned in to what was going on the whole time. I'm pretty sure he didn't say 2 words the whole time, however he couldn't stop talking about Thomas once we got in the car :) Here are some pictures from our fun little outing.
