We chose a small Tuesday/Thursday program at a church in our area for him this year. I think its going to be a great fit for him. His teachers Ms Brooklyn and Ms Chio were super friendly and were shocked he had never been in any kind of school program before. They said he jumped right in. Carter and I didn't quite know what to do with ourselves today, but I'm so excited for this one on one time with him this fall.
When 2pm finally arrived I couldn't wait to hear all about his day! On the way home he told me all about his new friend Caleb, singing songs, and playing outside with the boys with the striped shirts. He did choose not to participate in craft time today, but not too surprising. He asked me several times if he could go back on Thursday.
Couldn't leave Carter out of the picture action. He was very glad we didn't leave him at school today. He had a bit of a freak out moment during drop off. Don't worry Carter, you're still my baby and I won't be letting you go to school anytime soon.
Ready to go in the classroom! He didn't even look back once he walked in. Yesterday, he asked if I could just drop him off at the door. This kid...what will it be like in a few years?!We love you Cade and are so excited for your year in Preschool!! We can't wait to see how much you grow and learn.
