These Days...

These days seem so long at times but then pass by in a blink.  They are hard at times, harder than anything I've ever done.  Yet I wouldn't trade these days with these three little people for anything in the world.  They are more than worth it.

I read this quote a few months ago (can't remember where) but it has been a great reminder to me on those longer, harder, everyone crying at the same time days.
"This is the day the Lord has made (right now, this stage, this child, this circumstance).  I will rejoice (I will choose to worship God right now; I will look for what I can be thankful for) and be glad."

Here are a few pictures of our recent days together at home...
Fort Building
Coloring
Rocking sleepy babies
Building towns
Sidewalk chalk
Bubbles with friends
Sitting in boxes
A little Country Music Awards watch party
Sibling love/pajama days
Snack break with the neighbors
Finger chewing

Hmm, I was kind of hoping going from 2 to 3 wouldn't be as hard as going from 1 to 2 has been for me. Sounds like that might not be the case! I, like you, fight to have a thankful heart in the tough days. But God has grown me a lot & for that I am thankful!
