I read this quote a few months ago (can't remember where) but it has been a great reminder to me on those longer, harder, everyone crying at the same time days.
"This is the day the Lord has made (right now, this stage, this child, this circumstance). I will rejoice (I will choose to worship God right now; I will look for what I can be thankful for) and be glad."

Hmm, I was kind of hoping going from 2 to 3 wouldn't be as hard as going from 1 to 2 has been for me. Sounds like that might not be the case! I, like you, fight to have a thankful heart in the tough days. But God has grown me a lot & for that I am thankful!
