Cambrie Mae 1 Month

 One month ago I had a baby.  Wow.  I don't know if its the sleepless nights, the Christmas craziness or both but this has been one long, crazy, fun filled month! 

Cambrie Mae has only been here a month but she has captured all of our hearts.  There are 3 boys in this house who are completely swooned by her and are by her side at any sign of movement.  She has them wrapped around her finger already:) 

Here's a little about Cambrie Mae at one month old...

Her sleeping is not the most consistent at this point.  During the day she has a nice little routine of eating every 2-3 hours, being awake for a bit then going down for a nap. She is quite the little fighter when it comes to sleep but she usually does pretty well during the day.  However, night time is a different story.  The past week or so she has gone a 4 hour stretch at the beginning of the night and then pretty restless the rest of the night.  She has a hard time settling down after that middle of the night feeding and usually stirs quite a bit until around 5 or 6, then up again around 7-8.  Hopefully we will get this night time sleep thing figured out a bit more this month....mommy is starting to go a bit crazy!!

She wears size newborn in clothes and diapers.  She weighed right at 7lbs at 2 weeks so I'm assuming she's somewhere around 7.5lbs now.  Cambrie Mae loves being held or rocked, being swaddled, prefers Mommy most of the time, and loves the wrap I wear her around in.  It works like magic! 

 

Even though we may all be a bit sleep deprived we are loving every minute with our sweet girl!  I'm so thankful for the sweet gift of a daughter.  She will only be this little for a short season so I'm enjoying the newborn snuggles and lots of coffee during these days.
