December in Review

Our December was a whirlwind of fun, craziness and BABY!  What a fun and exhausting month it has been.  Since I was 9 months pregnant/had a newborn during this Christmas season we were forced to scale back some of our normal holiday activities.  At first I was disappointed and sad that I wasn't able to do as much this year, but as the days passed I was so grateful.  Grateful for slow days spent with my boys and long nights snuggled on the couch watching Christmas movies. We did do a few Christmas outings/activities and I felt like it was just enough and we were able to truly enjoy one another and this season of waiting and anticipation.  I'm so thankful I was forced to slow down during this season of craziness and just be with my husband and children.  Here's a peek into our Christmas anticipation...
Tree decorating, Christmas jammies and cookies & cocoa
Advent Book Countdown
Local Main Street Parade with lots of sweet friends

Annual Christmas Cookie Decorating
Movie night with my boys
The day after we came home from the hosiptal Cade had his Christmas program at school.  I was so sad to miss but thankfully Daddy took good video and Nicole took a few pics.  Our sweet boy who has been singing Silent Night all month absolutely refused to sing in front of everyone at the program.  Thankfully he held it together and didn't bust into tears.

Thankfully Jeremy & Nicole came to help wrangle this guy

Baby Sister!!!
Sweet Girl
Polar Express Movie Night with all 3 kids!
Sequoia Express headed out to look at Christmas lights!!
So thankful for such a fun Christmas season with our little family!  Now on to the sad part of taking down all the decorations.  Cade cried the other night when I told him we had to take down the tree.  Maybe I will leave it up a little longer, I mean I did just have a baby....
