Cade at 3

Oh, how is it possible my baby is 3?!  He's growing out of the baby boy pudgy look and into a tall, skinny kid.  This is such an interesting age though, not really a toddler anymore but not quite a preschooler.  Perhaps this is where the crazy mood swings come from...seriously sometimes I think they could rival a 13 year old girl.

Interview with a 3 year old...
Here are a few questions I asked Cade back in February:

Favorite Snack: Animal Crackers (not sure where he got this since I haven't bought them in months!)
Favorite Dessert: Cookies
Favorite Book: Berenstein Bears Go To School
Favorite Game: Cars Memory
Favorite Sport: Basketball with his favorite player being Seth

What do you want to be when you grow up? : Work at Basketball game
Favorite Team: Aggies
Favorite thing to do outside: dig

Favorite Song: Our God by Chris Tomlin and Holy, Holy, Holy

This kid LOVES being 3 years old.  He is full of energy and keeps us on our toes.  Cade never meets a stranger and has been so helpful in meeting people since we've moved.  He is quick to wave, smile or say hi to anyone who walks by.  I love this quality about him!  He is into all things construction and basketball.  His imaginative play has really taken off now and I love watching him play in his little world.
Some funny tidbits about Cade...
He rarely wears clothes when at home.  If he does happen to wear clothes at home he prefers his pajamas.  I can occasionally find him singing High School Musical songs to himself while he plays.  Cade is very gifted at making great excuses for not napping or stalling bedtimes.  He loves to dress up in costumes, his favorite being a firefighter complete with coat, boots and hat, but nothing else.  He has a very keen sense of smell, let's just say you're nothing gets by him.  There has been incidents of him asking very loudly in a grocery store isle, "Mommy, something smells bad.  That boy farted.(pointing to a man a few feet over)"

We love you sweet Cade!  It's been a joy watching you grow the past 3 years.  The time has flown by so fast!  I look forward to a front row seat as you grow into year 4.
