Oh sweet boy you are growing too fast! You bring such joy to my heart and our family. You are becoming quite your own little person these days. It has been a fun month getting to know your goofy little self more.
Here's what you have been up too this month.
Playing...Carter has now mastered sitting up. This has opened up a whole new realm of playtime. He will sit and contently play with his toys for long periods of time. I love this stage! He enjoys it most if big brother is sitting and playing nearby. No crawling yet, but I have a feeling this will be coming soon. He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth constantly. He's also mastered the razzing/spitting noise. We always know when Carter is getting tired in the evenings because he'll start spitting and yelling out. Such a silly little boy. It seems that the more tired he gets the louder he decides to yell.
Carter LOVES bathtime. As soon as I take him in the bathroom and get the water running he gets super excited. I'm pretty sure he would sit in his tub for hours if we'd let him. However, the other night he tried to pull up in his tub. Too soon baby, too soon!
Growing...Carter probably weighs around 17lbs if I had to guess. His little thighs are getting chunkier by the day.
Wearing...Carter wears size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes. I love all the fall/winter boy clothes we had from Cade and have enjoyed dressing Carter up in the cooler weather.
Eating...Cater is pretty laid back when it comes to eating. He still nurses 4-5 times a day and has 2-3 meals of baby food a day. He's also enjoyed a cracker or two and some cheerios this month. Much different from big brother who I'm pretty sure was strictly table food by 7 months and already starting to wean.
Sleeping...He takes 2-3 naps a day and sleeps about 12 hours at night. Sometimes he'll wake up earlier in the morning, eat then go back to sleep til 8ish.
Carter is a bit shy sometimes when we're out and about. However at home he's not shy at all! I have a feeling that once he gets moving he will be in the middle of EVERYTHING!
We love you sweet boy!
