Another month has sped by and it seems the time just won't slow down! Our baby is now 4 months old and couldn't be happier. He is still such a good baby and just goes with the flow most days. I just can't enough of his belly laughs and smiles which he pretty much freely gives to anyone who will stop and chat with him.
Here's what Carter's been up too this month...
Playing...he still loves his swing and playgym. He will sit in these and just watch his big brother play. New things he's been enjoying this month are longer periods of tummy time, sitting in his Bumbo and even trying to hold on to and grasp toys. He also loves to be read too! His favorites are brightly colored board books.
Growing...Carter now weighs 14lbs 7 oz and is 24.5 inches long! Although not as big as his brother at this age, but I'm totally fine with my little guy. He's in about 40% for both height and weight.
Wearing...Carter is still wearing size 2 diapers and in mostly 3-6 month outfits, however some things are still little big on him.
Learning...Carter has mastered the roll from back to tummy! He started doing this a couple of weeks ago. It was frustrating at first because he HATED being on his tummy and would roll over in the middle of nap screaming. However last week he apparently rolled over in his sleep and ended up taking a 2 hour nap! (crazy long for him) so I put him down again on his tummy and he slept great! So now he's an official tummy sleeper. I know that's against the 'rules' but I figure since he did himself and has great head control we are fine. I can't keep him on his back anyway now.

Sleeping...Still a great night sleeper going down around 8, waking at 5ish then back to sleep til 8. He takes 3 naps a day about 1-2 hours each. So thankful.
We love you Carter and love watching you grow!

i've been breaking the rules since p's umbilical cord fell off. he takes all of his naps on his tummy.
My Cade slept on his tummy too... I would put him on his back and then he started rolling over about 4-5 weeks old and would always roll over to his tummy unless he was swaddled. He was more comfortable that way I guess!
So cute! Amoriyah's been sleeping on her tummy since 4 months too; it makes a difference for sure in the way they sleep! :D
Erin, he look so much like YOU!
