We packed up and headed to Waco this 4th of July. It was our first overnight visit as a family of 4. Monday, the 4th, was spent hanging out by my Granny's pool with the majority of my mom's side of the family. Cade had a great time and was a little daredevil in the water! I was shocked at how well he did. After a full day of swimming, I'm pretty sure Cade was in the pool for at least a total of 3-4 hours, we were exhausted!
Tuesday we hung out with the Rogers' and basically had a great lazy day. We went to the pool for a little bit and lounged around the house. It was great to just spend time with them and not really do much.
Wednesday we headed to the good ole Cameron Park Zoo with Mimi. Yes, it was hot, but it's summer in Texas so we just sweated it up. Cade enjoyed all the animals with the Tigers being his favorite. After a fun morning at the zoo we went back to Matt's parents to hang out for the rest of the day. After an amazing dinner at Chuy's (LOVE that jalepeno ranch!) we headed back home with 2 very tired little boys. They were both out before we got on the interstate and stayed asleep until this morning!
We had a great weekend and enjoyed the time with our families!
