Snow Day(s)

Well the weather has been a bit crazy around here this week. Tuesday we woke up to sleet and snow covering the ground. Cade was quite excited to get snow for his birthday! However, after about 3 minutes out in it, "Too cold, Mommy!" Yes, baby it's way too cold.

It's now Thursday and the roads have been covered in ice for 3 days. Now I can plan to stay home for 3 days, but it's a totally different story when you haven't planned it. You start to feel a bit crazy and the walls of your home start closing in. Thank goodness for Netflix instant streaming! You run out of fun things to do and end up going out on the crazy roads for a happy meal! (Not saying that did actually happened...) However I have enjoyed these 3 days with my boys and we have spent some great quality time playing together. It's been nice to be made to slow down for a few days and just enjoy one another.

We've had record breaking temperatures and I don't think we've gotten above 20 since Tuesday. All that to say, I am ready for Spring!! I am a warm weather girl :)

We woke up this morning (Friday) with another 4 inches of snow!! CRAZY!! It hasn't stopped all day! The sun is finally peeking through this afternoon. Here's some more snow pics from this morning.
