21 Months

Late as usual....but I don't want to skip it.

Not many pictures this month. It's hard getting a certain someone to sit still for those :)

I know I say it every month, but I just can't believe how fast our little man is growing!! In 2.5 short months he will be TWO!!! That is just crazy.

We have been having a lot of fun this month. Cade is definitely a little social bug and loves to be out and about. He loves playing with his little friends. It's so fun watching little ones interact with one another. He's slowly getting to the stage of playing with his friends instead of alongside his friends.

Other things/activities he enjoys....

• Listening to music..his favorite being 'Holy Song' of course
• Playing with his cars and trash truck
• Playdoh
• 'Helping' Mommy clean. I squirt Windex on the mirrors, give him a paper towel and let him have at it. He LOVES it.
• Bath time. He loves to get in laundry baskets and pretend to be taking a bath.
  He also enjoys giving his toys baths as well
  
• Going night-night....what can I say the child is obsessed with his bed. He has literally thrown fits over wanting to take a nap before its time.
• Pico
  
• Reading books...we've been reading Winnie-the-Pooh a lot lately
  
• Babies
• Mighty Machines DVD's. We joke that he may not know his colors, shapes and numbers but he can name any type of transportation vehicle.
• Painting
  

Cade's verbal skills have really taken off in the past month or two. He can repeat basically anything we ask him to, in his own way of course, and just in the past week or so began to string 2 words together. Phrases I hear the most often..."Mommy, out!" (when he's ready to get out of his crib) "Cade's bath" (talking about his bathroom) "Bane's(Ani's, Nonnie's, Mimi's, Cade's) house?" "Mommy, go?" (where are we going today)

I love you sweet boy and I'm so thankful I am able to watch you grow and learn every day!
