18 Months

Yes, I am a little behind on this since Cade is more like 18.5 months old, but oh well! Here are some pictures and things he's enjoying these days....

Cade LOVES to play outside. Little does he know it's like 120 degrees outside:) The only time he gets to play outside right now is before breakfast and after dinner until bedtime. Well I guess he figured us out because he has been getting up btw 6:30-7 every day for the past week ready to play! We were outside by 7am on Saturday morning.....


His favorite movie right now is 'Truck' movie. He asks to watch it constantly! However, I only allow one viewing a day :) It's a little video of live construction sites. No animation, no people, just trucks...


Cade's favorite shoes are these Lightning McQueen crocks. They are not the cutest things ever, but the kid LOVES them. He wears them all day. I have to make him take them off for naptime and bedtime.

He is saying so many new things and is getting more understandable all the time. He is really good at repeating something I ask him to say. My favorite word is still 'Ma-me'....melts my heart every time.


The kid loves the camera! Anytime I get it out he immediately starts saying 'Cheese'. Think I take too many pictures? :)


His favorite books are all the Curious George books. He LOVES them. We've read them over and over and over. I'm actually quite impressed that he can sit through them, because most of them are pretty long. I guess he just loves that little monkey.


Cade enjoys mowing 'with' his Daddy. Anytime he hears a lawn mower outside he asks "Dada, mow?" He doesn't want to be left out on the mowing fun!! He will follow Matt at every window while he mows and as soon as Matt is finished Cade is out there 'mowing' too! It's so cute!

Cade, we love you and just love watching you grow! Your little personality is so cute and funny. I love that you want to be like your Daddy and do the things he does. I can't believe how fast your growing up, but I am so thankful I get to teach, instruct and train you during these days. Such an amazing privilege.
