Our little man has become quite the independent one these days. The walking has opened a whole new world for him! He loves exploring around the house and trying to do things 'on his own'. While this has been great for him, it wears this mama out! I have to constantly follow him around and be consistent with my training/discipline with him. Thankfully, he takes a good long afternoon nap so I can have some time for things like laundry and blogging :)
Cade's 15 month stats are: 22lbs. 14oz. (26th%), 31" (55th%) and a head size of a watermelon. (ha, j/k but it is in the 96th%) He still loves meal time and will pretty much eat anything I put in front of him. His favorites are spaghetti, guacamole, any kind of dipping sauce, honey toast, and fruit of any kind. Cade is also attempting to feed himself which makes for quite the cleanup, but I try to put aside cleanliness for learning on most nights. He talks constantly, not that that we always know what he's saying, but is vocabulary is growing. There are about 10-15 words we can recognize. One of my favorite things right now is when he looks at me and just 'talks' like I should know what he's saying. Who knows what I'm agreeing too:)
Attempting to feed himself
Like all little boys, this kid LOVES being outside and dirt. I think he would sit and play in the dirt for hours if I'd let him. Our main issue with him and outside is that the grass makes him very itchy and the warmer it gets the more uncomfortable long pants become. Therefore he just has to bathe every time he plays outside. Good thing he likes baths!
This boy loves his uncles! He and Uncle Seth have a shared love of basketball
We also learned that he loves 'Kitty' when visiting my sister. Cade and I are trying to talk Daddy into letting us have one :)
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before but Cade has some mild food allergies. He's allergic to dairy, eggs, and peanuts. They are not life threatening, but eating them makes his eczema SEVERE. So we stay away from all things with these ingredients. We are praying that God will heal these things in his little life. Its hard and some days I throw myself a little pity part, but I am constantly thankful that the allergy is not as severe as it could be.
We love you Cade-o!! We are so thankful that God gave you to us to teach and raise. You are such a blessing!!

I think Cade needs a kitty too. Maybe one will just show up at your house. Then Matt cannot turn it away.
And now he's almost 16 months old. He is so cute and is growing so fast. Love you both and really want to see your new house.
