I can't believe it's been almost 3 weeks! In some ways it feels much longer and in others it has flown by. Our little guy has grown so much in the past 3 weeks. He's already past his birth weight and getting chubbier by the day. He's alert and wide-eyed more and more and loves sitting in his bouncy seat.
I will admit that this whole mommy thing is a lot harder than I thought it would be, however I would not trade it for anything! I love that Cade knows my voice and can be calmed by my touch. He's had his bad days of crying and screaming, but he's getting better and I'm learning more on how to comfort him during those times. It's hard to listen to your little one scream and have no idea what's wrong! The Lord is teaching Matt and I so much about patience and the other fruits of the Spirit right now.
Since the weather was so beautiful today we went on our first walk. Cade slept through most of it, but he definitely loves being outside! Earlier today he was fussy and I stood out on the porch with him and he immediately calmed down. It was crazy!

Oh I can't believe how much he changes just day to day! I love his cute little tummy in the pic with Matt. We miss our precious Cade, and our Matt and Erin-- this once a week stuff isn't cutting it for me!! :) We are for sure hanging out at some point on Sunday though! Give him a huge hug and kiss for us!

Michelle Smith used to come over when we didn't know what was wrong with Jon Michael and just walk him up and down the sidewalk in front of our house...its amazing what being outside will do! Its definitly a big learning process..ya'll are doing great!

Still upset we haven't gotten to see him, yet. My family is all out of the woods for sickness, though... so we'll call you guys soon and come over. We'd love to bring dinner and just spend some time with you guys!
