Beach Trip 07

So we've been in Padre all week. It's been so much fun, even though it has rained pretty much every day. Our days consist of waking up, going to the beach, lunch, nap time, cooking dinner and then hanging out and playing games. This has been such a relaxing laid back vacation spent with some great friends.

Some highlights of the trip include:

Matt holding Treston ( well any baby for that matter) for the first time


Matt, Nick and Emma owning the waves on their boogie boards. Seriously Emma taught them how it's done. Carissa and I watched from the beach, we don't believe in getting in the ocean above our knees.


Going to probably one of the nastiest and smallest theaters ever to see Ratatouille with what seemed like everyone else on the island.

Staying up late after the kids go to bed and playing Taboo and Apples to Apples.

Basically just having a great time and fellowship with such great friends. The Bacaks are such a blessing to our lives. We have learned so much from them this year and even this week. We are so grateful to have such amazing friends. This goes for the Vanns as well. We are seriously going to miss them when they move in a couple of weeks.

We can't wait for Padre 08!!!!!
